Originally, my double-eyelid lines were uneven, and one side was especially faint, so it kept bothering me T_T I did not want a very heavy line and wanted a slightly defined semi-out look, so I researched that style and had surgery!!
There was some waiting during the consultation, but they looked quite carefully at the line I wanted and how my eyes opened haha. Rather than automatically making the line large just because that was what I wanted, they explained what degree would suit my eye shape, which made it easy to decide on the line during the consultation.
They also considered the asymmetry between both sides, and since my eyelid-opening strength was slightly weak, I decided to have non-incisional ptosis correction as well!
After surgery, the faint line on one side became clearly defined, and the difference between both sides decreased a lot. At first the line looked stronger than expected because of swelling, so I wondered whether it was okay, but it is gradually becoming more natural as the swelling goes down lol.
The semi-out look I wanted also turned out defined without being excessively dramatic, so I am quite happy with it now. The swelling has not completely gone down yet, so I need to wait a little longer, but I am satisfied so far.
I used to be subtly bothered every time I took photos because the lines were different, so I am happy that this has improved. I wanted something slightly defined rather than an extremely natural line, and it seems to have turned out about how I imagined, so I will wait for the remaining swelling to go down!
