Cheekbone Surgery Reviews

The reason my face stayed wide even after losing weight was my bones T_T

I thought my face would get smaller along with my body when I lost weight, but that wasn't the case for me... My body got slimmer, but from the front my cheekbones and square jaw kept the width the same, making only my face look particularly broad. After turning twenty, I started looking into facial contouring, consulted at about three places, and had two procedures, cheekbone reduction and square-jaw reduction, with Director Lee Ji-hyeok at ID. During the consultation, I only said I wanted a smaller face, but I remember him explaining which parts of my cheekbones and square jaw made my face look wide, rather than simply talking about reducing everything a lot. Since it was my first surgery and involved bones, I asked tons of questions, and he answered them one by one, so I chose this place haha. Right after surgery, I couldn't see any change because of the swelling, so I think I just waited for it to go down lol. But as time passed and the swelling subsided, the difference in my facial width became clear. Before, it felt as if my face spread outward from the cheekbones to the square jaw; now the outer line has moved inward, making my face look less flat. I didn't want an extremely pointed V-line, and I like that my original chin shape remains while only the cheekbones and square jaw were smoothly refined. Another surprisingly noticeable change is my features. My eyes, nose, and mouth are the same, but as the facial outline became smaller, the gaze goes more toward the center, so my features look somewhat more defined. I agonized until the end over whether to do only the cheekbones, but if only the upper part had been reduced while the lower angles remained, it probably would not have been the face shape I wanted. I worried a lot about whether it was right to contour my face already at twenty, but now I am satisfied because the broad-face feeling that had stressed me since I was young has been greatly reduced.
