Looking at my preoperative photos, you might think I had never had double-eyelid surgery, but six years ago I had incisional double-eyelid surgery as well as lateral and lower canthoplasty. At the time I wanted a natural look, so I made the crease very thin and completely inline. As I got older, my eye sockets became deeper, making my eyes look fierce, and the crease became lower, so they simply looked like monolids. I therefore had revision eyelid surgery. I narrowed down the clinics by reading reviews and had incisional revision surgery at [Clinic A], which I liked best during the consultations. What do you think?? When I went to [Clinic A] for a follow-up, Dr. Tae-hoon Kim said the swelling had gone down quickly. I asked whether I could wear makeup, and he said it was okay, so I did eye makeup and wore contacts for the first time in a while lol. I was extremely nervous because I had heard that swelling after incisional double-eyelid surgery always lasts a month, but I have never seen so little swelling even after incisional double-eyelid surgery plus ptosis correction, so it is fascinating haha.
