1 month + 2 week review after removal surgery

Hi everyone~ I had nose implant removal surgery on July 3, and today marks 1 month and 2 weeks, so I came to write my 1-month review. I keep thinking I should write the 1-month update, but I end up putting it off.. Maybe because I feel mentally at ease after the removal, I also don’t come here much, and I’ve been busy with real life- First, the foreign-body sensation is gone, the red and swollen bridge of my nose has returned to normal, and the nose that looked like an avatar has turned into a human nose, so I’m satisfied. More than anything, the time bomb inside my nose is gone now, so I feel so much more at ease mentally. Of course, I’m not 100% satisfied with the shape. But I wasn’t in a position to care about the shape anyway..^^ The front view is pretty disappointing, but the side view and profile are nice to me now. My face and overall vibe are round and soft, with a kind-looking(?) impression, and the nose with the implant didn’t really suit me. Right now it has a slightly curved, upturned-looking shape, and I think this current nose matches my face and vibe better.- I don’t think the contraction phase has started yet. I’m wondering if it will even come. My original nose was a downward-sloping arrow nose, so if anything I’m hoping it won’t droop And I still don’t think my nose has fully recovered. When I touch the skin near the tip of my nose, do you know that firm feeling skin has when you’ve been numbed? That feeling is still there. But it gets weaker over time. Up to exactly the 1-month mark the sensation was strong, but now I can feel it fading.- Also, after the removal surgery, I feel like my nose is actually more blocked than before. It feels like my rhinitis has come back...? I originally had functional nose surgery during my first surgery because of a deviated septum, and although the shape was ㅂㄹ, functionally I was still satisfied. But after the removal surgery, it feels like that deviated septum has come back a little..? It doesn’t feel completely blocked, but breathing seems less comfortable than before. So when I breathe through my nose, I can hear my own breathing sounds more clearly? Not all the time though.. anyway, it’s worse than before. Since I’m still recovering, I guess it may be because the mucosa inside the nose is still swollen. They did say during the consultation that they wouldn’t touch the part where the functional nose work had been done.- And maybe it’s just me, but I feel like the eye area was affected a bit too. When silicone was in there, the skin of the nose was being pulled tight, so maybe there was some slight epicanthoplasty effect(?)? After the removal, I feel like my Mongolian fold got deeper. And although I never had much fat under my eyes to begin with, after removal the area under my eyes feels more sunken than before, so my dark circles look worse Lately I’ve been interested in canthoplasty or under-eye fat repositioning.. But I don’t want to go under the knife any more this year, so I absolutely won’t do it this year, and I’m going to think about it for at least a year. I wrote down what I felt one month after removal, and if I can, I’ll definitely come back with 3-month, 6-month, and 1-year updates! Embarrassingly, I’m also posting my current side profile. It’s not a pretty nose, but I’m satisfied compared to my original nose and the nose right before surgery, so I’m going to live with it like this. (Though I am thinking about doing a slight alar reduction...^^...)
