Hi everyone! I had my first surgery when I was young. I was simply happy to be having surgery, so I let them do whatever they recommended—something I deeply regret, especially since I am sensitive. The implant did not rupture and there were no health problems, but I disliked the shape so much that my satisfaction was only about 30 percent. Since I had started with nothing, that alone was worth 30 percent, but otherwise, despite not being extremely thin, I had a prominent chest wall and little fat around my breasts, so it was very obvious they were implants. They also felt unpleasant, like bowls. Even though I diligently cared for the inframammary scars, they remained fairly large. I could not wear very revealing clothes and always rushed to cover myself when my breasts showed. I had surgery because of a complex, but it became a new complex. Since it was largely my fault for rushing in without understanding my ideal look or needs, I spent more than two years researching and saving for revision surgery. I researched extremely carefully and visited many well-known places, explaining what I wanted and what I thought the problems were.
Honestly, once you visit enough clinics, you realize the consultations are mostly similar. But I would stake everything on saying that Dr. Lee Jae-soo was different from the consultation onward. He listened to everything, explained every detail carefully, and seemed to focus on getting the best realistic result possible. The consultation quality was simply different, even though there was no consultation fee.
My priorities were: 1. naturalness, 2. improved feel, 3. improved shape and position, including escaping the bowl-like appearance, and 4. scar improvement. Still, because of my body type and established scars, there were limits. He carefully explained what could realistically be achieved and what could not. I had already decided during the consultation, but because it was revision surgery, I went home to think. Then I canceled my deposit at another hospital and confirmed this one that same day. It matched the direction I wanted, and the individualized approach gave me confidence.
I worked overtime until the day before surgery, but followed all the instructions and returned home after surgery without problems. When I woke up, it was astonishingly painless, and I wondered whether I had really had surgery. I tolerate pain well, but the first surgery hurt so much that I never dreamed of doing it again. This time, perhaps because it was revision surgery, the breast pain was literally zero. My throat was sore from the anesthesia.
I changed from BellaGel to Mentor Xtra Ultra. Motiva was the opposite of what I wanted, so I passed, considered the other options with the doctor's recommendation, and ultimately chose Mentor Xtra. Two months later, I am extremely satisfied. It has become natural in exactly the way I wanted, and the feel is truly great. I also like the shape. I had been slightly uneven before, so one breast point protruded from my underwear, but that improved too.
I could not dramatically change the size because of the old scar location, even if I had wanted to go larger or smaller, so the size is almost the same as before. Still, it feels completely different, which is fascinating. It is not simply the implant difference; it feels as though the doctor understood my body and breasts well and set the shape accordingly.
The aftercare is also thorough. Every time I visit, they kindly explain any daily discomfort and how recovery is progressing, which reassures me. It is the best. If you are considering revision, first understand exactly what you want to improve. I genuinely, genuinely recommend Dr. Lee Jae-soo at Next Plastic Surgery. If you do not believe me, at least go for a consultation. I am convinced it is rare to meet someone like him, lol.
While considering revision, I read many revision reviews. I hope my post helps someone too, so although it is embarrassing, I am even uploading the before photos!!! Thank you for reading this long post~
