I did not have a major appearance-related mental health issue, but everyone was getting double-eyelid surgery, so I walked into any clinic, booked an appointment, and had surgery. It has already been 10 years..... I will share my 10-year review. I did not shop around at all; I just consulted and booked at a plastic-surgery clinic near my home. It was crazy, but I guess I was lucky.. haha. The result after surgery was truly dramatic!! I had so much fat around my eyes that there was no solution except full-incision surgery (there are probably better methods now), so I had full-incision surgery plus medial canthoplasty because my inner eye distance was wide. Since it was a full incision, residual swelling lasted about a year, and I thought the line was a little high, but as expected, after 10 years it settled and descended. I am satisfied that I have pretty eyes at exactly the age when they look best!
