I had the 3-mm silicone bridge removed and lowered the tip while leaving the support structure in place. Photo 1 is from week 3, and photo 2 is today, day 30. I was extremely happy from immediately after surgery through week 3, but now, at one month, my nose feels very tight whenever I wake up in the morning (there is absolutely no pain or warmth), and it feels like my nose is gradually becoming more upturned day by day. My columella also feels like it is gradually retracting... It feels increasingly like a pig nose (it is more noticeable in person than in the photos). From what I found, the timing and symptoms seem consistent with the contraction phase. If I get Rizaben prescribed, can it help stop the progression somewhat? T_T..?
