I lived with sausage eyes for 3 years. The before eyes are photos from year 2 of my sausage eyes, and the after photos are from the surgery I had this June. I edited the photos so the angles are similar!
My eye conditions: I have thick skin, so even though my eyes protrude, they couldn’t make the fixation weak. One side came undone after my first surgery, and the revision failed, so I ended up with sausage eyes.

I posted this in another community and got treated like a broker because I uploaded progress often, so I’m keeping the hospital private.
I went for my 2-month follow-up, and the characteristic scar from double-line revision is pressing on the line, so there’s an area on my right eye where the line is straight like ㅡ. They said they’ll monitor it, and if it’s still like that after 6 months, they’ll provide AS. (Even if I do it, I’ll probably consult other places and get advice before deciding + even if I have surgery, I’d do it after a year and a half, when the residual swelling has settled and the tissue is a bit softer) The epicanthoplasty was almost a same-place opening... hahaha They said they opened about 1-1.5. (I asked them to open it clearly, too..★ They’re really conservative)
