Eye Surgery Reviews

[Clinic A] Community Review

This was the clinic I was most hopeful about among the revision-surgery options because I felt my double eyelids looked puffy, like sausages. My skin is thick, and I previously had incisional surgery. As soon as I arrived, they asked what I thought the problem was. I said I had undergone ptosis correction but felt the effect was minimal, that the crease depths differed between the two sides, and that the deeper side looked sausage-like. I also mentioned that the inner corners were interrupted, creating an awkward-looking outer crease.

The surgeon seemed conservative and said the crease was not deep at all, so revision was unnecessary. I also learned something new: with sunken eyes, ptosis correction can make the eyes look even more sunken, so it should absolutely be avoided. I felt the crease was somewhat high by my standards, so I asked whether lowering it would eliminate the sausage-like appearance, but they said it was not high even now. They said the outer crease could be improved by going to a clinic in my own area, not Seoul, and asking for a single buried stitch. They also said clinics in Gangnam actually tend to have poorer surgical skills. Their honesty made me lose interest in surgery itself. I entered the price arbitrarily.
