Before before before / after after after I'm writing a review for the first time because I wanted to share information about facial contouring surgery… Please understand even if the writing is a bit disorganized! My face wasn't normally long enough to need double-jaw surgery, but it was on the slightly longer side on average? so I had been concerned about that, and my square jaw had been a concern since elementary school… It was an area I had worried about, so the timing felt just right and I was going around to consultations at different hospitals. The last hospital I went to was Soda Plastic Surgery. Before that, when I had consultations, I only felt like, just… hmm… it's okay? I didn't have the certainty of, I should do this, I should get surgery! Since I had never had cosmetic surgery or even a small procedure before… I think I was especially careful. Then I had a consultation at Soda Plastic Surgery, the last place I went to, and as I said, my face is a little on the long side. Maybe because of that, if the cheekbones are shaved down even a little too much, the face can look longer, and I also wanted to leave my square jaw enough for it to still have character… I had a lot of different images I wanted, but even though I hadn't said it, while consulting with the director, he brought it up first and initially said it might be okay not to do the cheekbones… But you know how people's minds are, since I was already doing it… I was afraid I might later think, ah, I should have done it then… so he said he would do it really, really slightly and harmoniously while leaving things well. And even chin advancement, honestly my chin was originally on the slim side, so I never imagined moving it forward, but he recommended it and explained that the chin area needs to catch light for the face to look shorter. On top of that, while talking with the director about leaving some of the square jaw too… I became convinced… This is the hospital… This is the feeling people talk about, that you have to get that feeling… That's what I thought. So I think I chose it right away without much hesitation. I said I had gone to a lot of consultations before, and with the managers at other hospitals, it felt a bit like sales.? Like they were trying to sell something as if selling a product, but when I consulted with the manager here, it really felt exactly like receiving a consultation. There was no particular pressure, and it didn't feel like business… That look in their eyes… They looked so confident lolololol Not excessive, but concise. They spoke with clear confidence, point by point, so I became even more determined to do it here. So I quickly set the surgery date and had the surgery! From here on, I'll tell you about the recovery process! I went alone without a guardian and had the surgery, but even after the surgery ended and I woke up from anesthesia, I recovered in a private room! I was worried because I went alone, but they came back and forth really often and cared for me with a mom-like touch… So unlike what I had worried about, I was very comfortable. Thankfully the surgery went extremely well, and from the first day I just watched Netflix… A lot of people say it hurts, that they swell a lot, that waking up from anesthesia is hard… but for me, not really… There wasn't much that was uncomfortable. The director said there was almost no bleeding during the surgery? so I didn't have to wear something like a tube? Maybe because of that, I was so comfortable. Then the next day I came home, had some meals with drinkable foods~ did a little cold/hot compressing, and then for a week I just watched Netflix, did compresses, played games, took walks, went to see movies, went to a PC cafe, went to cafes, and lived so… so well… Recovery wasn't hard. Swelling wasn't really.? There wasn't much, and it didn't hurt. I took the medications and everything they told me to eat and lived my daily life like usual! Then I went to get the stitches removed! I had the stitches in my mouth and by my ears/sideburns removed all at once, and right away I ate jajangmyeon and all the foods I wanted lolololololol As long as it's not something too tough, from one week onward food is pretty unrestricted, and on top of that the swelling in my face had gone down to some extent, so it was easy to go around. After that I think I recovered quickly up to the one-month mark! After a week passed, I was recovering quickly enough that it was clearly visible. Now there are times when I sometimes forget I had surgery… lolololol Still, because I was careful about what they told me not to do and what to be careful about, plus the director did the surgery so well… I didn't really have any side effects or discomfort! Ah, just one thing: the sensation at the tip of my chin was a little dull.? Even that started gradually coming back once I reached one month… Anyway, this was my one-month facial contouring review~. I think the minor residual swelling will keep going down little by little, and I'm so excited… I already like it… I think I'll like it even more.
