Eye Surgery Considerations

I Finally Have the Calves I Dreamed Of

For someone who had lived slim or extremely thin all her life, having sturdy lower legs was a lifelong concern. Last year, when I had breast fat grafting, fat was harvested from my thighs, so my thighs seemed to balance better with my upper body. Then my calves started standing out much more. While looking into calf liposuction, I found many people saying calves are the realm of God, that it only leaves scars, and that liposuction has no effect because calves are muscle, so I agonized over whether to do it. I researched like crazy and found several calf specialists. I hadn’t even considered calf muscle reduction originally, but while researching I learned about it. I had ruled it out because of possible side effects—reduced motor function, and some people saying they got cramps—but decided to consult anyway. I visited [Clinic A], [Clinic B], [Clinic C], and [Clinic D]. I trusted the doctor at [Clinic D] the most during the consultation, and I liked that the doctor honestly said what was unnecessary was unnecessary. The doctor said calf muscle reduction would be more effective than liposuction and, if I really had to do something, recommended only that. But I wanted a dramatic result, so I did both. More precisely, I had liposuction + calf muscle reduction + gastrocnemius injections. It has now been 5 months, and my calves are completely slimmed down. I finally have the calves I dreamed of. I’m naturally prone to edema, so I usually wear compression stockings during the day. There’s a big difference in thickness between morning and evening because I swell easily, but I’m not worried since they said minor swelling can last up to 6 months haha. I had one incision on the outer side of each knee and one behind each ankle, four incisions total. As you can see in the photos, it’s still recent, so the scars are quite noticeable, but I had already accepted that I would have scars and plan to get scar laser treatment, so I don’t mind haha. Calf muscle reduction left no scars at all. I was very worried about side effects—honestly, during the first two months I felt tingling in my calves and was terrified it would be permanent —but now, at 5 months, I have no side effects at all and am completely satisfied!! I highly recommend it to everyone worried about their calves!! When I went, they had only recently opened, perhaps, so they gave a big discount for writing a review. Compared with other places, the price was excellent, and they also gave me calf ultrasound lifting at 2 months as a service!! Truly such a great deal. I used to be so stressed about my lower body that I have no old photos, which is a shame. Still, I found photos from when my weight was as similar as possible and uploaded them as before photos. I’m 161 cm tall and fluctuate between 42 and 44 kg. For reference, I also uploaded photos of the scars beside my knees and behind my ankles. I wrote the price from memory, so it may not be exact because there was an event when I had it done!
