At first, I went for a consultation because I heard that fat extraction was an option. But they kept recommending liposuction instead, saying that if I was going to do this, I should just have liposuction. Then why does fat extraction exist? Why insist??? I suppose it was because satisfaction is higher with liposuction, but the surgeon did not conduct the consultation and said a consultation with the surgeon had to be requested separately. The coordinator was very proactive and passionate during the consultation, so I was persuaded, paid a deposit, and left. But my job requires me to move my body around a lot, and if I had surgery I would have to return to work on day 10. They kept saying it would be fine and there would be no problem, so I paid the deposit and left. After I got home and searched extensively, I realized that it was not a procedure where I could recover and return to work after only nine days. And the list of possible surgical complications was terrifying.. I received a refund of the deposit.
