I will delete the photos later. I had the splint removed; day 7. I removed the silicone and repositioned the tip with ear cartilage. I wanted everything removed, but my septum had also dissolved and disappeared, so I was afraid the tip might collapse.. The contracted nose did come down, but perhaps because the tip is blunt, my midface looks long.. Other people say their tip looks lifted when the splint comes off, but mine is too droopy and looks like a pig nose. Will the swelling go down faster once the splint is removed? This is my fourth nose surgery, and I really hope it will be my last.
