One side of my nose was usually blocked almost all day, so I often breathed through my mouth while sleeping. I also frequently caught sore throats and had sleep problems. Since I was going to have surgery for rhinitis anyway, I heard that many people now combine functional and cosmetic rhinoplasty while using private insurance, so I looked into places known for functional cosmetic rhinoplasty and went for consultations. From the outside it was not noticeable, but the internal septal cartilage was severely deviated to one side, leaving the airway very narrow.. The doctor explained the surgical plan for the functional aspect and how the tip and bridge would be operated on. The doctor seemed to have extensive experience with functional cosmetic rhinoplasty, and the explanation was easy to understand. The coordinator also explained the insurance coverage well, and it was much, much easier to understand and proceed than researching alone. If you are worried about rhinoplasty and find it difficult, I recommend going for a consultation because it seems to provide the answer! There was no same-day pressure or unnecessary procedure upselling, and everything was straightforward. I can see why they are known for functional cosmetic rhinoplasty.
