When I first decided to get nose surgery, I really had no idea what to look into first At that time, reading consultation-visit reviews in a community helped me a lot, so I'm posting my own clinic-visit review too! For reference, I did my clinic visits and had surgery, and I'm now 2 months post-op!
* Areas I wanted to fix: hump, deviated septum, rhinitis * Things I considered - Whether the deviated septum and rhinitis could be corrected well (so I looked into a lot of ENT clinics) - Not using costal cartilage (since it was my first surgery, and I like a soft nasal tip, I wanted to go somewhere that uses nasal or ear cartilage) - Not using silicone (my skin is on the thin side, and I wasn't greedy about height!) - Whether there was CCTV in the operating room and whether it could be viewed (for my safety..!) - Whether it was the director's private clinic (I thought a place where one doctor operates under their own name was better than a place with multiple doctors) - Whether the number of surgeries per day was 2-3 or fewer - Whether the director personally handles post-op care - The director's confidence lolololololol - Clinics that don't run events (discounts for writing reviews, etc... If they do that, I can't trust the reviews)
Also, for everyone who will use costal cartilage, since it's done under general anesthesia, I think it would be good to check whether an anesthesiology specialist stays present during surgery!

You're not confirming the surgery; you just need to contact them within a week You pay 100,000 as a reservation deposit that day, and if you don't have surgery there, they refund it right away except for the consultation fee! If you do have surgery, the consultation fee is free The director sees all post-op visits
3. ㄴㅈㄹ Personally, this consultation felt like a waste of money I went because they were known for closed rhinoplasty After CT and photos, the consultant looked at my face and explained things, so my trust dropped right away Then the director came in and did the consultation. The director said I needed to use silicone, so I asked whether it wouldn't show through since my nasal skin is on the thin side, and they said even if it shows through, it's better to put it in. Before I asked, they didn't mention that it might show through because my nasal skin is thin They recommended using costal cartilage. Swelling laser and everything were all extra fees, and both the surgery cost and additional costs were expensive Number of surgeries per day: 2 They have CCTV and it can be viewed, but you can't watch live. You can review it after surgery is over AS period is 1 year Consultation fee: 30,000 (cost including CT)
4. ㅇㅇㅂ Since it's an ENT clinic, they examined my nose in really great detail. They took photos inside my nose and explained things very thoroughly. Really kind Uses autologous costal cartilage Number of surgeries per day: 2 when busy They have CCTV and it can be viewed, but you can't watch live. You can review it after surgery is over AS period is 1 year Swelling laser and hyperbaric oxygen therapy are free once a day (they said I could come every day) The director sees all post-op visits Consultation fee: free (cost including CT)
5. ㅊㄷㅊ It was new because they first showed me a video about surgical knowledge before the consultation. It went video, consultant consultation, director consultation, consultant consultation After looking at my CT, the consultant said it looked like I had had nose surgery and that I just didn't seem to know Even when I said I had never had surgery, they kept saying I must have, so I felt a bit bad. There's no way I wouldn't know about surgery on my own bodyㅠ The director was kind. While looking at my CT, they measured the size of my cartilage and explained why I shouldn't use nasal cartilage. 7. ㄷㅎㄷ The director was kind. Recommended using silicone (said that would look clean) Since it's a plastic surgery clinic, they said ENT insurance processing wouldn't apply, so they would do the deviated septum and inferior turbinate reduction for free Consultation fee: free (cost including CT)
For 6 and 7, I didn't record them, so I wrote what I rememberedㅠ I did mine at one of these places! Now my nose is straight, breathing has become so much easier, and the hump is gone. It's still slightly bumpy, but as the swelling in the hump area gradually goes down, it's becoming smoother I barely swelled after surgery. I'm really satisfied that only nasal cartilage was used! (Ear cartilage, costal cartilage, and silicone were all not used)
