Eye Surgery Reviews

Three months after double-eyelid surgery!! Scribbling about life after escaping monolids

It has already been almost three months since I had partial-incision double-eyelid surgery with Dr. Cha Ji-hwan at [Clinic A] haha. I previously wrote a review excitedly one week after surgery, and time really flies. It was so hot then, but it is already autumn haha. I came back after reminiscing to jot down what has improved since escaping my monolids. I originally had virtually no double eyelids and slight asymmetry. I had surgery because my monolids were a major insecurity! Getting as far as visiting clinics for consultations was difficult, but after consulting, choosing a clinic and scheduling surgery was easy. I chose [Clinic A] because of its calm atmosphere, because other clinics all recommended full incision while this clinic recommended a partial incision, and because they thoroughly explained the reasons supporting that recommendation. Everyone was also so kind when I came for follow-up care, which I appreciated haha. There was a little swelling in the first week, but now it is completely gone. Since it was a partial incision, there is no visible scar even when my eyes are closed haha. The biggest difference after double-eyelid surgery is that makeup goes on so much better. The range of makeup possible with monolids versus with double eyelids is extremely, extremely, extremely different! Another advantage is being able to try various styles haha. People really do tell me I have become much prettier. Of course, I did not become this pretty from double-eyelid surgery alone—I also made efforts with makeup, styling, hair, and so on—but the surgery was the catalyst, so I am very satisfied. Even if I went back, I think I would have the surgery again, and I would choose [Clinic A]. If you have questions, leave a comment! I will answer
