Tomorrow will be exactly three weeks. Since the removal, I have been cautious and never touched my nose, so I don’t know how firm or soft it used to be. Since yesterday, the tip has felt slightly tight and a little harder. I think this is the period when scar tissue forms rather than the contraction phase, and it seems like it will become softer once this passes. When washing my face, I gently clean it with foam, but it still hurts a little, like touching a bruised area. It does not hurt at all if I don’t touch it. The shape does not seem to have changed; only the swelling is going down. The nostrils that had enlarged after removing the nasal packing seem to have almost completely returned. The tip has not lowered as much as I expected; it seems to have lowered only that much as the nostrils that had been pulled up excessively came down. This was from the year before last and last year, so I don’t know how things are these days.
