Eye Surgery Reviews

[Clinic A] Community Review

I arrived about 20 minutes late for my appointment, so I waited an hour for the surgeon’s consultation. I was told the surgeon had gone into the operating room. I consulted in the order of coordinator–surgeon–coordinator. Sitting and waiting gradually became boring lol. At first, the coordinator’s consultation was brief, with just a few questions taking less than five minutes, and then I waited a little longer before seeing the surgeon. The surgeon was kinder than I expected. One of my eyes had lost its fold, while I was reasonably happy with the line on the other side, so the surgeon set and compared the line of the eye that had lost it. I asked what would happen if I had surgery on only one eye, but was told both eyes needed surgery because of ptosis correction. The consultation was more thorough than expected, and whenever I asked something, the surgeon explained it right away. At the end, I discussed the cost with the coordinator again and was told there would be a discount if I wrote a review or sent photos. I was also told that the clinic offered post-treatment care such as swelling laser treatments and swelling injections, so if I decide to have surgery, I feel they would take good care of these aspects. Overall, the consultation was fine, although the long wait was disappointing. Still, the surgeon’s consultation was better than expected, so I am considering this place as a candidate for now.
