Three-month review after implant removal for a recessed chin and chin advancement surgery

I had a chin implant placed 10 years ago for a recessed chin, but it seemed to cause a foreign-body sensation and movement, so I decided to remove it and have bone surgery instead. Since this procedure seemed most famous there, I chose an oral and maxillofacial specialist. It was my first general anesthesia, and I felt very nauseated immediately afterward, which was difficult. My stomach is usually sensitive, so the nausea was intense. It improved later, but I was surprised by more swelling than expected at first. For a month, the tight feeling and swelling were difficult, but afterward I returned to normal life naturally. I wanted a natural result and asked not to make the chin pointed. Perhaps because of that, it seems to have settled naturally without looking obviously different to people around me haha. I’m satisfied, and my double chin has improved compared with when I had the previous 10-mm implant.
