Cheekbone Surgery Reviews

After reducing my cheekbones first, my lower face bothered me more

I had cheekbone surgery at another hospital about 10 years ago. My cheekbones themselves became smaller, but as time passed, my lower face actually looked wider On top of that, the shapes of the left and right sides of my jaw were different, so from the front one side looked more spread out and even my chin looked blunt. In the end, I underwent facial-contouring surgery again at [Clinic A]. At first, I honestly said I wanted to reduce my lower face dramatically this time lol. But they said my cheekbones were already relatively small, and if my jaw were reduced too aggressively, the upper and lower face would be unbalanced and I could look unnaturally pointed, so I let go of that desire... Looking at the result now, I think it was good that I listened. The asymmetry that bothered me most is much less noticeable, and my formerly broad lower face has been refined inward, making my frontal facial shape look more harmonious. But it does not feel as if my jaw suddenly disappeared. Once the width of my lower face was reduced to match my cheekbones, it finally felt as though the upper and lower parts of my face were no longer disconnected. From the side, the jawline also flows naturally without suddenly bending or dipping in halfway, which I quietly love. There is no unnaturally sharp-jawed look, and my chin did not remain pointed on its own. I used to wonder why my facial shape still felt unsatisfactory even after cheekbone surgery, but comparing the before and after now, the reason is obvious lol. My cheekbones were small while the lower part was wide, so the overall balance was awkward. Since it was my second bone surgery, I deliberated a lot beforehand, but this time I am most satisfied that the proportions between my already-operated cheekbones and lower face were matched, rather than simply reducing everything as much as possible.
