We made a list like this in advance and searched for clinics through online research and recommendations. After my mom and I went around for consultations together, we both had surgery at the clinic that suited us best. My under-eye fat repositioning recovered faster than I expected, but my mom is still recovering. I usually tend to have some swelling, so I rested well for about a week, and now the bruising and minor swelling have gone down a lot. I went on lots of walks with my mom and drank pumpkin juice diligently too. Now my mom’s swelling has improved a lot as well. It’s still hard to say it looks completely natural, though.. She says the drooping around her eyes has gotten much better too, and I think the double eyelid line came out nicely without looking excessive, so we’re satisfied. Since the line was placed slightly higher, she likes that her eyes look biggerㅋㅋ
The place where we had surgery is a clinic right in front of Sinnonhyeon Station. First of all, it specializes in eyes, and I liked that it was a private clinic where the director had long experience. Especially during the consultation, they explained everything very professionally, which was nice. They didn’t add on excessive extra surgeries and honestly recommended only the surgeries that were needed. Among the places we went for consultations, quite a few kept trying to add other proceduresㅠ This place doesn’t seem to have photo-review events, so I think that’s why there aren’t photo reviews. Maybe because of that, it seemed like a place people go to through word-of-mouth recommendations from people who actually had surgery there. For me, once the protruding under-eye fat disappeared, my overall face tone seemed to become brighter, and people who see me often said something looked different. (To be honest, I had been hiding that I got surgeryㅋㅋ) I think it’s too early to say everything is completely perfect, but for now, both my mom and I are satisfied.
