My surgery was on 9/19 at 1:30, and I fasted for 6 hours (no water either). After the design marking was done, it was 2:00. I waited a bit, then went into surgery at 2:10 and came out at 4:20. I got an IV to help me wake up from anesthesia, and when I opened my eyes it was 4:50! (I don’t remember any of it, I had only opened my eyes.. The reason I know the times is that the nursing assistants in the recovery room had written down, by time, how I was doing and what kind of care had been given, so I checked that haha)
By the time I had come to my senses, peed, and walked around for about 5 minutes, it was 6:18. (I usually see a lot of reviews saying people get dizzy, so I specifically bought iron supplements.) As soon as I opened my eyes and came to, I took the iron supplement~ After that, I never had any dizziness or pain or anything like thatㅋㅋ I’ve had a lot of procedures and surgeries so far, but.. this is the first time something hurt less than double-eyelid surgery, so I was a bit surprisedㅋㅋ I even wondered if it was just my body type.. I was scared, so now I’m wondering why I was like that.. haha After the explanation and packing up my things, I think I left a little before 7.
The hospital is on the 6th floor, and there’s a separate pharmacy, so you have to go to the pharmacy on the 1st floor to pick up your medicine! The pharmacy was open until 8, so I had plenty of time to get it and went out to eat dinner.. The hospital gave me a sweet corn porridge?? (it was seriously delicious), so I ate that too, ate the snack they gave me, and drank the lemon ade my boyfriend bought me too, but… my appetite came back so strongly that I went to Imsi...? soup rice and ate gukbapㅋㅋㅋㅋ Of course, with my back held straight so I wouldn’t get wrinkles!!! When I got home, I cleaned my lower body gently, and scrubbed my upper body with wet wipesㅋㅋ I brushed my teeth and washed my face all by myself too!!
On the day of surgery, I had bruising around the underwear line on my thighs, and my genital area got puffy because of the solutionㅋㅋ What I liked so much first was how kind they were!! From booking, consultation, and pre-surgery steps, someone stayed with me one-on-one the whole time, and when I asked questions or contacted them by KakaoTalk before booking, they replied instantly.. They are really, really kind.. Usually after surgery you come out covered in povidone, but here the staff wiped all those antiseptics off for me, so I came out very clean~ㅋㅋ They even said that if it was hard for me to pick up the medicine, the staff would pick it up and bring it to me themselves.. And they repeatedly told me that if there was any problem, they would reply instantly on KakaoTalk, so don’t worry, and if anything happens at home, contact the hospital right awayㅠㅠ..
Before surgery, you wash your feet and face and go in with no lotion on~ But when I opened my eyes, my facial skin felt moisturizedㅠㅠㅠ I have extremely sensitive, dry skin, so if I don’t put on lotion it cracks, and if I use something with bad ingredients I break out in red hives, but it felt moisturized and not tight, like I had applied a good nourishing creamㅠㅠㅠㅠ It felt like they had put something on my face.ㅠㅠㅠㅠ They didn’t say they had applied anything, but this isn’t just my imagination.. At the outer corner of my eye, something with a cream-like texture?? I could feel it on my hand…!! Even after I got home there was no pain and I could do my normal daily life!! It’s so comfortable because I don’t have to wear compression garments! Just go up and down stairs, and when sitting, be careful to keep your back straight! It might wrinkle, so if possible lie down or stand!!
The day after surgery, there’s disinfection, stitches are removed after 10 days, and then management once every two weeks for 6 sessions. You can shower from the day after surgery if you put on a waterproof bandage! [Below are the pre-op precautions I was told and noted down] No tight underwear or clothes until the stitches are removed After the stitches are removed, the swelling goes down, and the final line is set by the 2-month mark No compression garments xxxxxx It’s already been lined up, so wearing commercially available compression garments will ruin the line entirely They said gently doing hula hoop exercise (not the kind with acupressure rods) helps prevent unevenness and is really helpful for shaping the line No alcohol or smoking at all until the one-month mark There wasn’t a specific recommendation for diet control, but they said a low-sodium diet is good They removed 2,600 cc total with 360-degree liposuction (front abdomen, upper abdomen, love handles, back abdomen + pubic area service) (4 surgical areas, Fat 1800 cc, oil 800 cc). During the consultation, the surgical area was described as 2 areas on either side of the pubic bone, but when the design was marked, one additional area was added on the waist/back with the spine, so I went in thinking it was 3 areas. But when I came out, it was 4 areas… huh..? I think this changes depending on the situation and the patientㅎ I’m 154 cm and 48 kg, but I have a thin build only in my arms, legs, and face. My upper body is short and my waist is boxy. I’ve tried a lot of things like PT, gym, flying yoga, diet boxing, and so on, but only my belly wouldn’t go away, and thinking about wearing a wedding dress next year felt overwhelming.. What worried me was that I’m planning to have the ceremony next year and then a honeymoon baby right away, so I was concerned about whether there could be any problem with childbirth or stretch marks. But they said abdominal liposuction should absolutely be done before pregnancy and that it’s 100% better. Since the fat had already been removed, I wouldn’t gain much weight or get a big belly during pregnancy anyway (the baby is in the uterus, after all~^_^) and after childbirth, I’d return to my old body faster than other people during postpartum care, they said very firmly, so I booked without hesitation! It was a surgery slot someone else had canceled, so I had surgery just 5 days after the consultation, and they gave me a discount for that. The original price was 280. This is a real self-paid review, absolutely not an ad!!! If it were an ad, I couldn’t curse, rightㅠㅠㅠ It’s seriously not an adㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠIt wasn’t discounted for promotion either. Some hospitals say they’ll give a discount if you post a review, but this place is already run by a single director, and it’s already well known by word of mouth, so they don’t need to do that and they still do wellㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠIf you want to book surgery, you need to reserve at least a month in advance to get a date.. Actually, the reason I chose this hospital was because I followed the director there before, and 3 or 4 years ago? I had double-chin liposuction there, and I went because I was extremely satisfied and had no scar. I’m posting this because I hope everyone can meet a good director at a reasonable priceㅠㅠㅠ Director.. no.. doctor father.. may you walk only the path of money… I’ll leave an additional review after the stitches come out!! I wasn’t even planning to post a review, and I’m writing this while bandaged after the surgery, so I couldn’t attach the pre-op photos or the photos after unwrapping the bandages! I’ll post those two when I go for disinfection tomorrowㅎㅎ I only took two days off total, the day of surgery and the day after, and I’m going back to work, and my condition is good but I’m a little scaredㅋㅋ To be continued…
