Eye Surgery Reviews

Just fixing my eyes made me look completely different

Around the end of last year, I finally had the revision eye surgery I had been agonizing over for so long. My first surgery was semi-out, but the crease was set a little high—not quite sausage eyes, but without makeup it was very obvious that I’d had double-eyelid surgery. lol On top of that, the creases were slightly uneven, which was quietly stressful. When I first looked into revision surgery, I focused almost entirely on Gangnam. But since I live in Incheon, going back and forth for surgery and follow-up seemed difficult. Then I found a hospital in Incheon that is fairly well known for eye surgery, read reviews, and went for a consultation. I told the director that I absolutely wanted the crease lower than it was now and wanted a natural in-out line rather than semi-out. The director adjusted the line several times and kept checking what would look natural on my eyes. They explained why the asymmetry looked that way and in detail how much the old crease marks could be corrected with revision surgery. I asked a ton of questions, lol, but they never seemed eager to rush the consultation, so afterward I felt it would be okay to have it done there. I was even more nervous on the surgery day than during the first surgery. Since I was redoing eyes I hadn’t liked before, I kept thinking, “What if they look strange again?” But when I looked in the mirror afterward, I could immediately see that the crease was lower even with the swelling, so I was relieved for the moment… The swelling wasn’t particularly severe at first either, so I thought, “Oh? This is better than expected,” lol. During the first week, one side was a little more swollen, so I worried that they might become uneven again. But over the next two or three weeks they gradually became more similar, and at around one month, they were barely noticeable with makeup. Once more than three months had passed, the before-and-after difference was clear!!! If you’re worried about the crease while there’s swelling after double-eyelid surgery, it’s genuinely better to wait a little. My greatest satisfaction is that even without makeup, it doesn’t look like I had revision surgery… The symmetry is also much better than before, and people around me keep saying the current crease suits me much more. lol At first I agonized for a long time over whether I really needed revision surgery, but now I wonder why I didn’t do it sooner. Once my eyes were sorted out, my vanity wanted more…^^ Lately my nose is starting to stand out, which is a problem, lol. Would I really be done if I had my nose done too…?? Maybe I’m obsessed with my appearance, haha T_T
