I tried facial contour injections and Botox, thinking I was taking care of myself. Because I had spent money, I lived under the illusion that they were working, but reality was different.. So I admitted that to myself and, while considering contouring surgery for a slimmer face, I searched extensively for jaw procedures, thinking this was my last option. I found out about masseter reduction. The reviews looked better than expected, so I visited Volume Plastic Surgery hoping I could see results without going as far as contouring surgery! The doctor felt my jaw and explained that because my masseter muscles were attached strongly, the contouring injections had never really worked, although Botox may have helped somewhat. They said my lower face could become noticeably slimmer if I combined masseter reduction with salivary-gland Botox, so I had the procedure as my last hope before contouring surgery!! At first it was somewhat difficult to open my mouth, but after about a week I gradually adapted to opening my mouth and eating After about three weeks, my jaw definitely started looking slimmer. When I met my friends after fully recovering, they all asked whether I had had double-jaw surgery Idiots If anyone here wants a slimmer face, look into masseter reduction too!
