Before/after/after/after A long time ago, I whined to my mom to let me get double eyelids, and she dragged me by the hand to some clinic I didn’t even know, and I had surgery there. When I think about it now, it’s honestly ridiculous lol lololol lol lol lol I was just so happy to be getting it done, but even thinking back on it now, it’s funny The clinic I went to was absolutely not some famous clinic in Seoul? Gangnam? Apgujeong? Busan? Lighthouse city? lol lol lol It was super cheap and I really just got it done in a local neighborhood area, but I’m still so satisfied that I’m writing after a long time because if you’re thinking about double eyelid surgery, I really want to recommend at least double eyelid surgery so much
First of all, I had completely monolid eyes with not even a trace of inner double eyelids, and back then I used double eyelid tape + double eyelid glue every day, so my eyelids were all stretched out. My mom did let me get it because she felt sorry seeing me like that,, but my eyes were seriously bad But now, everyone, acquaintances and all, says I had such a glow-up that they go, “If you hadn’t gotten double eyelids, whew tsk tsk.” (But I’m still not satisfied and am looking into nose surgery haha..)
The trendy double eyelid line at that time was an in-out line, and the director also recommended an in-out line, but with my young mindset I said, “No, if I’m paying for surgery, it should be noticeable. That line is too thinㅡㅡ” and refused. Back then, the consultant’s eyes had a rea~~~lly thick outline double eyelid, and they were so pretty. So I pointed at the consultant and said, “Her eyes are so pretty. Please make mine exactly like those,” and despite the director’s opposition, I got ♡medial canthoplasty + incisional double eyelid surgery♡ 7-8 years ago,,
In conclusion, I’m very satisfied. Honestly, not 100%, and I am tempted by lateral and lower canthoplasty too, but many people say those reattach quickly, and an acquaintance of mine actually had lateral and lower canthoplasty, but they reattached after a month, so she cursed about it and strongly talked me out of it.. Because of that, I’m satisfied with my current eyes, and honestly I think double eyelid surgery has the fewest side effects among surgeries. It’s easy and accessible too~ If anyone is considering double eyelid surgery, I really want to tell them to absolutely do it
I went to a clinic I had truly never even heard of, it was shabby, and I had it done at a strangely cheap price that can’t even be compared to now, but I think surgery isn’t about the clinic or whether it’s famous. You just need to meet the right director!
I hope you choose your director well and get good results! (As for me.. I’m off to look into nose surgery..)
