I visited Oaro Dermatology for a consultation with Dr. Jae-yoon Jung regarding acne-scar treatment. Since he is a board-certified dermatologist with substantial experience and many relevant reviews, I had high expectations before visiting. I was interested in treatments such as Fraxel, Juvelook, and TCA CROSS, so I had a consultation and was informed about the treatment plan and cost based on five sessions. However, after the consultation, there were personally some disappointing aspects. Given the doctor’s experience and many reviews, I expected a careful and accurate diagnosis of my skin condition and scar types, but even after listening to the explanation, I did not feel that the diagnosis was sufficiently clear. I also wish the explanation of which procedures my skin needed and what effects I could expect from each procedure had been more specific. In particular, the cost of five sessions including Fraxel, Juvelook, and TCA CROSS felt somewhat expensive. I have not undergone the treatment yet, but the amount quoted during the consultation felt burdensome.
