Ultherapy and InMode review - use this as a reference when choosing a clinic

If there’s anyone who has the same concerns as before, I hope this helps when choosing a clinic and choosing a procedure.

Please refer to the before-and-after photos.

From what I saw, I didn’t think my facial sagging was severe. It was just that when I took photos, my cheeks around the nasolabial folds looked saggy, and I was stressed about cheek fat around my cheekbones, so after reading posts saying Ultherapy is effective for reducing cheek fat, I decided to get Ultherapy.

I wanted to go in for a consultation and receive a detailed consultation. If it was a procedure I didn’t need for my face, I was planning to do a different procedure that suited me better.

12:30 appointment - Waited about 20 minutes until the consultation

Consultation with the consultant manager

Writer’s consultation They recommended that doing InMode together would be effective for my face, so I also did 2 areas of InMode. The professionalism and trustworthiness of the consultation felt low. They didn’t really pay attention to my facial condition or those kinds of details, and recommended the more expensive procedures. After the consultation with the consultant manager ended, I thought I would have a consultation with the doctor, but they immediately asked for payment; I proceeded with payment without even seeing the doctor. Applied numbing cream and waited 2 hours. In the procedure room chair, the consultant manager did the facial guide design consultation. Before the procedure, the doctor came in and did a small consultation, asking which areas I was concerned about, so I talked about it then. I said I was concerned about fat around the cheekbones and the nasolabial folds. They drew the design around the cheekbone area and started the procedure right away.

When about 80 shots had gone in, they said my skin was extremely thin. They said my skin had already lifted a lot and told me to get a steroid ointment when I left later. Then they said Ultherapy is a procedure that works well for sagging skin in the lower face. They said they would do InMode as much as possible toward the cheekbone area. I had gone in because of cheekbone-area fat... If I had consulted with the doctor before the procedure, I would have done InMode and another procedure rather than Ultherapy.

After it was done, I thought Ultherapy was not the procedure I needed. The price was on the cheaper side compared with places specializing in Ultherapy, but if the system is like this, I thought I should have just done it somewhere even cheaper.

My appointment was at 12:30, but the procedure started at 2:30. The clinic’s treatment system was the same as a low-cost factory-style clinic. If the consultant manager just sells a procedure product, the doctor comes in like a machine and only does procedures nonstop. I did receive the genuine product certificate. Everyone will look for places that use genuine Ultherapy tips, and if, like me, places that are too expensive feel burdensome so you’re looking for a place running an event, I think these points would be good to keep in mind.

1. Unless it’s an expensive place because it’s famous anyway, don’t expect service. Instead, choose a cheaper place that gives a genuine product certificate.

2. If possible, make sure to confirm whether you consult with the doctor before payment.

3. Don’t trust app reviews. (I chose this place after seeing reviews that were good and said there was no waiting.)

It’s only day 2, so there’s swelling from InMode, so I don’t know about the effect yet, and my face has become more square. When the swelling goes down, I’ll bring another review.
