I had buried-incision double eyelid surgery + ptosis correction 10 years ago, and one eye developed an overlapping fold once or twice last year, and this year there have been about 4-5 times when it formed an overlapping fold. Once it happens, it lasts at least 3 hours. When the overlapping fold appears, if I open my eyes with force, my original line comes out, but if I open them without force, it's an overlapping fold. Usually the line is clean and well formed.
I went for consultations, and they said the thread has loosened and it's in the process of coming undone, but they said they can't know when it will completely come undone. Should I go for revision surgery now? Or should I wait until it happens more often or right before it fully comes undone?
