Review from breast consultation rounds to 7 days after surgery

Before-before-before-after-after Honest review from consultation rounds to the day of surgery~day 7!!

I had breast augmentation + accessory breast removal surgery with Director Kim Eui-geon at Winne Plastic Surgery, and the incision method was transaxillary incision. The implants are Mentor Xtra, left 375 / right 350!

I looked up a lot of breast surgery reviews, YouTube videos, and things like that, and did a lot of online research too. (To the point where I could immediately tell which hospital it was just by seeing the initials.) Among them, I narrowed it down and went to 7 hospitals that looked good for in-person consultations, and among them, only Director Kim Eui-geon explained the surgical method in detail and in an easy-to-understand way. He also showed strong confidence in the transaxillary incision, and I developed strong trust in the director's skills, so I decided on Winne. After the consultation, I felt that I should do it at Winne!

And during the consultation, one part where I felt the hospital facilities were considerate was that at other hospitals, I had to wear a gown over my bare body and wait in the lobby during consultations (it was embarrassing because anyone could tell I was there for a breast surgery consultation), but at Winne Plastic Surgery, you don't need to wait in the lobby, and you can change clothes inside the consultation room! I really felt it was thoughtful!! —— Day of surgery

I arrived at the hospital around 11:30, went into surgery around 12:40, and when I came to in the recovery room, it was 2 o'clock. I had heard the operating room was cold, so I was really nervous, but as soon as I lay down on the operating table, they covered me with a blanket, so I didn't feel that cold!

Even when I was in the recovery room, the manager and nurses kept coming and going and looking after me! (I asked a nurse if she could bring me my phone, and without showing any sign of annoyance, she brought it from the locker too.. Thank you.)

When I was fully awake from anesthesia, Director Kim Eui-geon came and told me the surgery went well and there wasn't much bleeding, and said it was finished in 30 minutes including accessory breast removal~ (Maybe that's why, even though I had breast surgery, I didn't have any bruising on my chest.)

Day 1 (same day) On the way home in the car, I watched Netflix. Does that mean I won the pain-free lottery? hehe

After surgery, there was stiffness, and the compression band made me feel tight. There was no pain. I had heard accessory breast removal was very painful, but it didn't hurt at all, and I think it was just hard to use my arms. My arms could lift about as much as raising my hand during a presentation, and by evening, I felt myself swelling more and more. The swelling also went down to my abdomen, and maybe because a larger implant was placed on the left, it was harder to use my left arm!

Day 2 I felt more swollen than yesterday, so it felt more tight, and it was hard to get up from bed by myselfㅜㅜ

Day 3 I felt stiff, and compared to day 2, I felt the swelling had gone down a little! Using my arms was still difficult, and I became able to raise my hand up to my forehead!

Day 4 From this point, using my arms definitely became easier, and I became able to get up from bed by myself.

Days 5~7 My condition is very good now, my arms go up well, and getting up by myself has become comfortable.

—— I got a lot of information from this community, so I'll share my surgery review too hehe Even if I could go back, I would still have surgery at Winne!!
