It’s been about 7 years since my surgery. Because of inflammation around the silicone in my nose, when my body is really worn out or I’m tired and my immunity drops, my nasal bridge swells. This has been happening for 7 years. There were no symptoms for the first 2 years, and from the 3rd year? whenever it swelled, I took antibiotics and it got better. Up to now, this has happened about 6 times. If it goes down after taking medication, I have no symptoms at all. Recently I went to the hospital and had a CT scan too, but they didn’t say it was contracture; they said there were signs of contracture. They suggested removing the silicone and using autologous dermis for the nasal bridge and autologous costal cartilage for the nasal tip. Is it right to do revision surgery? When I have no symptoms, I feel completely fine and live normally.. I don’t think there is capsular contracture..
