Petit Procedure Reviews

My first review of Ultherapy and Thermage

As I approached my 40s, I started feeling that my face was losing its shape, so I looked into treatments. A newly opened clinic was running a very cheap promotion, so I went half-expecting it not to be great. The coordinator’s consultation was... not very good. There was no professionalism at all, and I wondered, “Is this person really the coordinator?” But the price was so reasonable that I decided to take the chance and paid for 300 lines of Ultherapy and 600 shots of Thermage, although it was still expensive

I’ve had many other laser treatments, but this was my first time having these two because of the price. Since I heard they were painful, I even received nerve anesthesia and started with Thermage. It was bearable because of the nerve anesthesia, but as the pain accumulated, it became difficult after about 400 shots. I thought it would have been a disaster without the nerve anesthesia. The treatment also took a long time—when it ended, I saw that it had taken about 35 minutes.

Next was Ultherapy... It was about 20 times more painful than Shurink Universe. The pain gradually became sharper and then felt like a sudden stab piercing the skin! The pain from Thermage had accumulated, and then there was Ultherapy too. By the end, it was irritatingly painful. This also seemed to take about 20 minutes.

If I do it again, I think I’ll either have sedation or receive Thermage and Ultherapy on different days. When painful treatments also take a long time, it becomes harder and harder to endure them.

For reference, my skin is on the thin side. I did find this painful, but I have received Skin Botox with only numbing cream, and I’ve had Potenza several times, so I’m usually good at tolerating pain. I think it was more difficult because the unpleasant pain and long duration raised my stress level. Also, perhaps because the clinic had been open for less than a month, the system was a mess. The staff were friendly and the doctor treated me carefully, but perhaps there were no experienced coordinators or veteran staff, because the guidance was poor and I was left sitting alone, having to look for staff myself.

Afterward, they only applied cream—there was not even sunscreen or anything like that.. There were no other customers either... I don’t know the results yet, so I’m not sure whether I’ll return. This is my own paid review, not an advertisement, and I won’t say where it is in the replies. If you search the app, there are places that are unusually cheap.
