Days 1–2: The pain was bad enough to make moving difficult. Getting up and sitting down was especially hard, so I used my arms a lot when going to the bathroom 😂
From days 2–5, the pain gradually eased, but the swelling started increasing instead. Still, moving around definitely became easier each day!
Days 6–7! The swelling seems to be at its peak now. My legs are very swollen and I’m still walking slowly. The swelling is harder than I expected. Time, please pass quickly T_T
But now that it’s day 7, I’m really happy that I can put on and take off the compression garment smoothly in one go. At first, it was seriously quite a task
My weight reached 4.6 kg above my pre-surgery weight around days 4–5, so I hated looking at the scale lol. Today, on day 7, I’m down about 1 kg from there! They say the swelling and weight will gradually go down from now on, so I’ll wait and see. Fibrosis also seems to be starting gradually, so I’m massaging it with my hands these days! I’ll start radiofrequency care next week.
They say it really starts coming off after two weeks, so I’ll bring photos and updates of the slimming process again haha. A few years ago, I had thigh liposuction at another clinic. You can see the holes in the back in the bottom photo 😂 But when my appetite was strong, there were times when I let myself go so much that I ended up gaining over 20 kg. While deciding to diet, I started looking into liposuction again, and after getting the procedure at Yonsei Image Line through an acquaintance’s recommendation, the result was so good that I decided to have my thighs done too haha.
Maybe because I carefully ate beef knee soup as the clinic instructed, the bruising and swelling seem to have gone down well. Even though they’re still swollen, the inner-thigh line looks straight, so I’m satisfied haha.
