This is my first post, so if there’s anything wrong, please tell me gently
I’m planning to get revision eye surgery this winter, so I’m starting with online research
It’s been about 10 years, I think? When I was a senior in high school, I followed a friend and, without knowing anything, got it done at a local clinic
I ended up doing incisional double eyelid surgery / ptosis correction / epicanthoplasty. They said they’d make it look natural with an in-out fold, but the result was sausage eyelids, so it was out, out, out...
I have sunken eyes, small narrow eyes, and really tiny eyes, so the line absolutely should not have been set high
But the doctor was like, “I’ll make your eyes bigger~~” and the result was a disaster
The epicanthoplasty was also opened differently on the left and right, so my eyes look asymmetrical, and because they were pulled down too much, my impression became harsh
It wasn’t a surgery I really wanted or had planned to get from the beginning, and without much concern
I just got swept along following my friend, didn’t look into it, and went through with it
I think of it as my own karma
Back then, there weren’t many places to get plastic surgery information like there are now
What I’m thinking about now is lowering the sausage-like fold line, correcting the uneven eyes, and since I have small narrow eyes, I want canthoplasty
Personality-wise, I’m a total scaredy-cat and very soft-hearted, but I’ve been told I look like I have a problem, and even though it’s been over 8 years since my double eyelid surgery, my boss casually says things like, “Did you get it done the other day?” “Did you get double eyelid surgery?” “When did you get it done?”
So I’ve been really hurt emotionally..
I wondered if I should just live with it, but now, even if I don’t become pretty, that’s okay
I just want to have natural, normal-looking eyes
Round eyes with a good impression ㅜ
I’ve researched online and made my lists, and I’m planning to go for consultations next week
After the consultations, I’ll come back and write again
But this is my first plastic surgery consultation since my first surgery, so I don’t know anything. Am I supposed to go completely bare-faced? Please let me know..
