1st - 15 years ago, I had the nasal bridge & nasal tip done with Gore-Tex by my mom’s friend 2nd - I developed inflammation, so 3 years later everything was scraped out and the nasal tip was done with cartilage
Since 5 years ago, maybe contracture started, my nose looks raised, and it looks too obvious, so I decided on revision surgery
Yesterday was my first time! I did something called a hospital tour, but each hospital was a little different, so after the tour it became even harder ㅠ (After getting a CT scan, they said there is still Gore-Tex left and that it is slight contracture)
Questions
First! In my opinion, I feel like using only autologous costal cartilage and cartilage would prevent another contracture and inflammation, but at 2 places specializing in contracture, they said they would put in silicone for the nasal bridge together with autologous costal cartilage for the nasal tip
I really don’t know much, so I’m asking ✔️Even if silicone is inserted, can there be no contracture or another inflammation?
I really want this to be my last surgery ㅠ ㅠ
Second! At hospitals that don’t use autologous dermis? they say that later, that too will change in shape over time
Ha.. I’m going crazy, who is right.. Are these also new techniques these days, so side effects may occur later..
