It's been a while, everyone. In February, I had my hump shaved down and an osteotomy, but it was over-osteotomized, and all the swelling has moved down to the nostril wings. But I don't think this is just normal post-op swelling; it feels like the surgery went wrong.
I'm currently looking around for hospitals that are good at osteotomy restoration, and they say these three places, H, DPLS, and DTJ, are the best... Sigh... Actually, I’m having functional surgery next week. After that, while filing a damage relief claim with the consumer agency for the botched surgery,
I'm thinking of going around for consultations. I’m thinking of doing osteotomy restoration + swelling removal + lifting the nostril wings. If possible, it would be better to get everything done at one place, right?
If it’s a hospital that’s only good at osteotomy, I’d just get the osteotomy restoration there, and then get the swelling removal and nostril-wing lifting done somewhere else, but that would mean repeatedly touching the nose, so I feel like it would be really bad for the nose.
