Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redo

Autologous rib cartilage vs septal cartilage, which would be better...

My first surgery was done with ear cartilage, but maybe it was too weak because my nasal tip bent, so I’m looking into revision surgery. Which material would be better... Reading posts here,

Some people say septal cartilage originally supports the nose, so if you take out cartilage that was perfectly fine and use it for surgery, it may be okay for the first few years, but since our bodies are affected by gravity for life, wouldn’t there eventually be a possibility of collapse? That also seems to make sense...

I also saw a post asking which would be more natural and better, putting something that was originally in the ribs into the nose or using cartilage originally in the nose. Doctors’ opinions are really divided too, so I’m so conflicted.. Since the surgery gets bigger, it feels even more burdensome.. ㅠㅠㅠㅠ
