My first surgery was done a year and a half ago by a doctor famous for men’s eye surgery (recommended on a DC plastic surgery gallery)
I asked for a slightly visible double eyelid, but in the operating room he said it was a bit too much and that we should go natural, so I got swept up in the atmosphere and went with that
In the end, it became a completely hidden double eyelid that I didn’t want, so 4 months later I asked the hospital where I had my first surgery about a revision (free if revised within 1 year)
They said they could raise the line more, but the front line would be difficult (technically really difficult)
In the end, I decided to go around to other hospitals for consultations
This time, I chose hospitals based on recommendations from acquaintances + YouTube and went around
What I heard while going to consultations was that the epicanthoplasty hadn’t been done enough and that it needed to be opened more
I said the distance couldn’t get closer because I was worried the space between my eyes would narrow, and I chose a hospital that told me it wouldn’t get closer
There were absolutely no app ads or anything like that, so I trusted them more (expensive)
During the revision surgery, they asked why there were so many scars above my eyes (I had heard this during consultations too)
For my first surgery, I had non-incisional double eyelid surgery + ptosis correction + epicanthoplasty + fat removal, but I also don’t know why scars formed
Anyway, it’s been 2 weeks since the revision surgery, and one side bled a lot during surgery so it’s still swollen, but swelling should go down with time
I’ll upload the photo I wanted too
Later, once all the swelling goes down and it settles, I plan to upload review photos too
