I also had less bruising and swelling than I expected. I worried that after a week, when the splint came off, the shape would look weird, but it didn’t, and it looked natural, so I was satisfied. It really feels like every time I take a selfie, the bridge looks different because the middle part of the nose bridge has changed, if that makes sense!!
There are people who don’t even recognize me, but the people who know I had surgery say it turned out naturally and nicely. The place where they removed the ear cartilage was a little sore, but my nose really doesn’t feel like anything now. The only slight disappointment is that I heard it gets a little lower over time, so I wondered if I should have raised it more, but then it might have been too much, so.. I think natural is better for me right now.
