I joined to look for clinic reviews for a revision surgery because of side effects from ptosis correction. I had also mustered up a lot of courage to get my double eyelid surgery, so I don't even know what is going on. Some people have surgery two or three times, repeating it without fear until they are satisfied, but I'm suffering from side-effect pain and wondering if I have to live with this pain for the rest of my life, which feels dark and hopeless. I've recovered a lot now, but when I first felt the side effects and the pain was severe, and for about 1.5 years after that, it was an extreme ordeal. I went to the ophthalmology clinic and was told I had ptosis, so I went ahead with the surgery.. There was also talk that if I didn't get ptosis correction, I would end up with sausage eyes.. It's been almost 3 years since I had only the ptosis correction released, and I'm wavering back and forth about revision surgery. The pain could come back after surgery, and I don't know how my appearance will change.
