I had my first surgery with the incisional method 2 years ago.
There were some clinics that said buried suture would be possible, but my eyes definitely needed ptosis correction, and there were many bad stories about non-incisional ptosis correction, so I was too scared to do it. ㅠㅠ
Looking back now, even if non-incisional ptosis correction didn’t turn out well, I should have at least tried buried suture first.
Anyway, I had it done with the incisional method by one doctor, and the clinic was quite popular on apps and such, and the reviews looked pretty too.
But that doctor seems to be good at buried suture, while not so good at incisional surgery. ㅠㅠ
Even now, 2 years later, I still have sausage-like double eyelids, the epicanthoplasty was also excessive for my eyes, and I even have step-like scars, so they say this may not be easy to fix well even with revision surgery. ㅠㅠ Looking at the community clinic reviews, it seems like there are quite a few people besides me who ended up with sausage-like eyelids. ㅠ The doctor looked trustworthy and seemed very nice, so it’s really unfortunate.
I’ve been too scared of failing again to get revision surgery, but now I’m going to gather the courage and try it.
