The doctor said lower canthoplasty was not recommended. He said my eye corners were not that strongly upturned. He said my eyes protrude, so there may be no need to set the line very high. Among the clinics I visited, this one felt like it gave the most conservative consultation. There was no consultation fee, and they did not pressure me to make a reservation either. The atmosphere was comfortable, and the surgeon listened calmly.
2. Clinic name: Noh Sang-hoon Plastic Surgery Consulting surgeon: Dr. Son Won-il Consultation fee: X Details: They recommended natural adhesion + upper canthoplasty. They said because my eyes are protruding, even buried sutures would still create a good double eyelid line. Since I have a slight Mongolian fold at the inner corners, they said that if I only did double eyelid surgery, the outer part might feel lifted when looking at my eyes, so a slight upper canthoplasty would let the double eyelid line show at the inner corners too and make the whole line sit smoothly. They said I could also do lateral/lower canthoplasty if I wanted, but they did not recommend it. Still, during the consultation they told me how much it would cost if I added lateral/lower canthoplasty. Dr. Son Won-il came in and marked the line for me, and since I said I wanted a natural line, he marked it accordingly. He has more than 20 years of experience, so he clearly distinguished what was necessary and what was not. There was no reservation deposit pressure, and no consultation fee. What I liked was that the manager joined the surgeon's consultation, listened to how I was counseled, and later summarized everything for me on KakaoTalk, which was really helpful~ At other places, some only wrote a brief note on a business card, and some didn't write down the consultation details at all, but at Noh Sang-hoon I could get it through KakaoTalk, so it was useful for organizing the consultation later too.

This was the longest consultation of all the places I visited. At the other places, I had about 20 to 30 minutes with the surgeon, but here it was a little over 40 minutes~ She explained everything in detail, tried several different lines, and said that because my eyes are protruding, even a slightly high line could feel too heavy, so she recommended a natural, not-too-high in-out line. I liked that the doctor spoke gently and explained things well. There was no pressure to pay a reservation deposit, and the consultation fee had already been explained to me when I booked, so that was fine. Honestly, I actually felt more comfortable paying a consultation fee...

First of all, there were so many people that I had to wait 3 more hours beyond my consultation reservation time to be seen. It seemed like a very popular plastic surgery clinic... When I said I wanted a natural line, the doctor recommended a line to match that and said buried sutures alone would be enough.
