..I’m looking into a third surgery

I did online research in a cafe, picked one place from among them and had a consultation, and I thought it seemed okay enough, so without going around for more in-person consultations, I booked there for the next week and had revision surgery. It had been 10 years since my surgery, but I had a feeling that the tip of my nose was getting slightly shorter? People around me said it looked fine now and asked what I would do if surgery went wrong, and why I’d get revision surgery when there wasn’t any big problem. But since I didn’t feel any inflammation or contracture? or anything like that, after I found out about this community, I started thinking that maybe I had surgery without taking the side effects seriously enough. I’m looking into revision surgery again, and while I think it’s fortunate that I found this community even now, I’m looking into revision surgery again and I’m so upset and scared. Since 10 years had passed after my nose surgery, I didn’t feel any contracture or inflammation in particular, and from what I felt, my skin is on the thin side. My first surgery was silicone 3 mm? + ear cartilage in a semi-slope shape, and externally my nasal tip felt like it was getting shorter. They said they could also treat rhinitis and sinusitis together and that private insurance would cover it, so I booked a consultation, had the consultation, did various tests, and had surgery within a week. They used silicone 4 mm? + ear cartilage. The director recommended autologous costal cartilage, but I wanted something natural, so I chose ear cartilage. Since it was an ENT plastic surgery clinic and had inpatient rooms, I was hospitalized for 5 days after surgery. I went home and was recovering, and on the morning of the day I was supposed to get my stitches removed at one week, I woke up and was getting ready to go to Seoul when there was an enormous amount of bleeding. I went straight to the emergency room, but they said it hadn’t been long since the surgery and they weren’t the operating surgeon, so they were hesitant to touch it. They put gauze all the way inside my nose to stop the bleeding, gave only emergency hemostatic treatment, and I immediately took a train to Yongsan and went to the hospital where I had surgery. They did something with a syringe and pressed on it, and the swelling gradually improved. They told me to wait, so I waited. After the bleeding stopped, I took medication for a week, and fortunately it calmed down and there were no major symptoms, so I was doing okay. I had booked 6 scar laser sessions, so I was visiting once a month after surgery, but suddenly one day in the 4th month, my nose hurt when touched and became red, and the bridge between my eyebrows started swelling slightly. My husband said something seemed wrong. My husband had been saying ever since the splint was removed after surgery that my nose looked crooked. So when I told the hospital, they told me to diligently make my nose into an “11” shape with my hands,, Anyway, I went in because it was even more swollen than after surgery, and again they pricked it with a needle to drain it. They said only a little clear watery fluid? came out, and said they weren’t sure if it was inflammation, to take medication and observe it, and then do revision surgery. I was scared and wondering what this was. Now it has gone down with medication, but my nostrils are uneven, I think there’s scar tissue too, and as time passes, something on the right side, whether cartilage or flesh, is protruding. The revision surgery failed, so I’m looking into a third surgery again,, Ha, I’m so upset and scared and feel like I’m going crazy. I should have just lived as I was, why did I have to... I didn’t have any major discomfort, but I had revision surgery to become prettier, and now I’m living every day with stress and fear. The director says the surgery went well, that when a foreign material enters the body it naturally reacts, and silicone is also a foreign material, so that’s why it’s happening. He said it would get better with medication and not to worry too much, and that there are cases where it stops like this. He said if I want revision surgery, he’ll do it after 6 months, but how can I trust that director and do it.. Before surgery, he seemed so confident that I trusted him and left it to him, but with this result, I don’t even want treatment, let alone revision surgery. The cost was about 6 million won, hospitalization 500,000 won, scar laser was discounted to maybe 300,000? 350,000, but I’m so angry and annoyed. Is there no way to get a refund or take any other action? Since after surgery, I have photos every day at 2-day intervals, and the day after surgery I went down from the inpatient room for treatment, had the gauze removed, and took a photo. From then I said my nostrils were uneven, and the director and nurses all said it was because of swelling, but looking at the photos I took, the stitching itself was just wrong.
