After worrying about my first nose surgery for 3 years, it's finally coming to fruitionㅠㅠ... I visited a total of 5 clinics! ㄷㄷㅇ ㅁㅂ ㅇㄴ ㅁㅇㄷ ㅍㄹㅁㅇ! The two I was most torn between out of these... ㄷㄷㅇ, ㅁㅂ
First, my issues are a bulbous nose and low nose, but the nasal tip isn't extremely low compared with the rest of my nose, and I have a lot of flesh on the alar area. The shape I want is natural yet defined, but only enough to give a frontal-view effect and harmonize well with my face!
The two clinics I was most torn between didn't take CT scans, but at the clinics that did, they all recommended donated costal cartilage or autologous costal cartilage!
First, ㄷㄷㅇ Feels like a friendly uncle. He directly designed what shape would look pretty on the side-profile photo they took.
Nasal bridge, nasal tip, bulbous nose, nasolabial angle Silicone + septal cartilage + ear cartilage + donated costal cartilage, to be confirmed during surgery (If donated costal cartilage is used, you can check the tissue graft document.) Alar reduction not recommended For CCTV, if you mention it before surgery, you can watch it as clips. (Stored for 2 weeks) Aftercare: unlimited swelling laser, swelling injections twice? I think that was it. Nose surgery > cotton removal the next day > splint removal on day 7 > ear stitch removal and dissolvable stitch removal on days 10-14 (checked by the director) (I forgot to ask about anesthesia... I've also seen posts on other apps saying a nursing assistant administers it...)
ㅁㅂ They showed me the prettiest side-profile angle on the computer. They gave me all the choices. Basically: nasal bridge, nasal tip, bulbous nose correction, alar reduction Functional surgery and alar reduction are optional. Number of visits: 3 Day 1 cotton removal > 1 week splint removal > day 14 ear stitch removal, intranasal stitch removal Aftercare is a swelling injection on surgery day and swelling laser 1 week later. CCTV can be checked briefly on a monitor during surgery. (If a guardian is present)
