Since it’s a revision surgery, I really went to a lot of consultations, and exactly half of them recommended an upper epicanthoplasty, while the other half said I shouldn’t do it, so it’s difficult I’m currently deciding between the final 2 places, and both doctors are famous for eyes and have long experience.
1. Hospital specializing in revision surgery (famous for doing a lot of line-lowering) - Raise the line just very slightly, only change the steeply downward-sloping eye shape, revision medial epicanthoplasty on the right, absolutely against upper epicanthoplasty
2. Gets many primary and revision eye surgeries; so busy it’s hard to even book a consultation - If I want the line to show all the way to the inner corner, upper epicanthoplasty is essential
Both doctors recommended the same incisional method, and the upper epicanthoplasty and the line height they aim for are slightly different, but neither of them looked at me with my mask down, so it’s really hard to decide If I get an upper epicanthoplasty, will the lacrimal caruncle show more?
