The outer corners of my eyes are slightly upturned, so when I take photos it stands out and stresses me out, so I’ve been looking into lower canthoplasty. But there are so many posts saying the side effects are really severe and that you should absolutely not do it, so I’m really torn For now, I searched around for places that do non-incisional lower canthoplasty, had a consultation, and even put down a deposit The things people commonly point out are that it all sticks back together anyway so it doesn’t last long, you can’t smile with your eyes and the under-eye fullness disappears, it looks very obvious you had surgery when you smile, it causes entropion and discomfort, etc. Is there really no lower canthoplasty without those kinds of side effects My surgery is soon, but I’m wondering if I should just lose the deposit and not do it Everyone around me is strongly trying to stop me, so every day I’m glued to my phone until dawn searching side effects, and I’m so stressed
