Cheekbone Surgery Reviews

3 months after contouring

I used to go about my life without thinking much about my face shape, but when I took photos, my mouth seemed protruded, so I visited a dental clinic and was told I had a recessed chin. After that, I got consultations at several plastic surgery clinics. But at 7 or 8 places, they all said that my cheekbones stood out more than my recessed chin, and from then on I developed a complex about my face shape and stopped wanting to take photos. That is how I ended up deciding on contour surgery.I had been going to consultations at 7 contour-specialized plastic surgery clinics for a year, and there was always at least one thing that held me back, so I kept postponing it and even by 2026, a year later, I still couldn't choose a hospital. Then I really felt like I wanted to go through with the surgery, so I read reviews of Soda Plastic Surgery and liked my preferred style, the director's career, the reviews, and so on, so I went in for a consultation. The consultation was a long one, very thorough, and they tried to match my needs as much as possible.Of course, you can't know everything from a consultation alone, but after visiting 8 clinics, Soda Plastic Surgery was the only place where I felt, this is it! so I decided on Soda Plastic Surgery. I chose cheekbone reduction, mini V-line, and facial liposuction. Before surgery, I knew contour surgery was a major operation, but I didn't realize it would be this hard..The first week was extremely hard, and after a week I was able to manage. The swelling was so bad for about 3 to 4 days that I couldn't even tell what was what, and from day 4 it started going down little by little. For about 2 weeks, I managed the swelling by taking Danggui Susa and New Vein. Around the 1-week mark, the huge swelling had gone down, but when I looked at my side profile, it was so flat like it had been pressed by an iron plate that I kept staring in the mirror worried for several days. But around the 1-month mark, I realized that in the early stages of swelling going down, there is no need to worry about asymmetry and the like. Up to 1-2 weeks, the swelling can go down in strange shapes! So don't judge your face shape at that time! Looking back now, I wonder why I worried so much.I went for 30 minutes to 1 hour walks every day, used ice packs during the first week, and after that kept doing warm compresses. It's almost 2 months now, but I still do warm compresses once every two days. The swelling has now gone down a lot, and the hard swelling under my chin has also gone down a lot. Up to day 7, brushing my teeth and eating were so hard. I mainly ate porridge, New Care, ice cream, soft bread, and tofu, and since eating the same thing every day was so boring, I got through it by eating different foods every day. One really good thing about Soda Plastic Surgery is that from day 7 after stitch removal, they said I could eat normal meals slowly as long as the food was soft, and I could brush my teeth too. Of course, I still ate porridge plus side dishes until the 1-month mark (because I couldn't open my mouth well and chewing was difficult), and from reviews of other clinics I saw places where you couldn't brush your teeth until a month had passed, and others where you had to stay on liquids for 2 weeks.. That would be unbelievably hard, so I can say that alone is enough reason to recommend Soda Plastic Surgery! From 1 week to 1 month, I mainly ate udon and soft side dishes. From 1 month until now, I've been eating anything I want as long as it's not hard. Everyone's difficult parts are different, but for me the hardest things were the throat pain related to general anesthesia intubation and nasal phlegm plus throat phlegm (for about days 1 to 4, bad enough that I couldn't sleep, depending on the person), and then brushing my teeth and eating. So being able to brush my teeth and eat again this quickly was truly something I was very grateful for. Honestly, the early face looked so strange that I kept wondering what I was supposed to do about it, and for several days I felt upset and lived with a mirror in front of me all the time. Around the 1-month point, as the swelling went down a lot, I found myself wondering why I had worried about that in the first place. I also had severe facial asymmetry before surgery, so I thought, could my face really be changed beautifully with contour surgery... let's not expect too much... I thought that way. But now, just under 2 months later, when I take photos, I don't even need to edit my face shape. Before surgery I had my own way of editing my face shape in photos, and it's so amazing that they made it look exactly the same that I'm surprised every time I look at photos. There isn't a single spot where I think, ah, this part isn't great, and I'm so satisfied day by day. If I went back, I would choose Director Kwon Jae-hyun at Soda Plastic Surgery again! I just like everything, so the difficult period after surgery is actually remembered as a fun memory, and all I can think is that I wish I had done it sooner.
