They harvested my septal cartilage, so if I remove it, won’t my nose turn into a saddle nose because the septum has no strength? I’m losing my mind, I’m so anxious. The doctor took my septal cartilage without even telling me, on his own, and I don’t even know how much he removed. I thought I hadn’t used my septal cartilage and lived for 5 years believing that, but once I found out, my mental health completely crashed and I feel like I’m going to die. I chose this hospital because I didn’t want septal cartilage to be used during surgery, but wasn’t that doctor insane? I’m losing my mind because he took my septal cartilage without telling me or discussing it with me. What’s more, he used ear cartilage as the support and pushed the septal cartilage up into the tip.. not using septal cartilage as the support and placing ear cartilage on top, but using ear cartilage as the support and pushing up the septal cartilage ^^.. Isn’t he insane? What was he thinking, if I had gone in for revision surgery using septal cartilage that still hadn’t been used, and then opened my nose only to find there was no septal cartilage left?

Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redoAug 17 Nose foreign-body sensation

Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redoAug 17 Thinking about hospitals before removal of my naturally big nose with 5.5 mm silicone + mesh (no photos)
My natural nose is what people commonly call a thick nose. The bridge bone isn’t completely absent, but the alae were relatively large and thick, so the bridge was buried in the tissue and couldn’t be seen. It’s the kind of nose that…
