I had Motiva augmentation under the fascia through the armpit with sedation anesthesia by Dr. Kim Min-young. In the early stage after surgery, there was quite a bit of stiffness and pulling in the armpits and chest, but after about a month, that discomfort definitely decreased a lot. The swelling has gone down a lot compared to the beginning, so overall it feels much more natural. The shape has settled in so beautifully that I’m satisfied, but on the other hand, once the swelling went down, it seemed smaller than I expected, and sometimes I feel a little disappointed about the size. So for anyone considering surgery, I really hope you fully discuss and decide on the breast size you want, taking into account the size after the swelling goes down as well. Once my swelling actually went down, it felt smaller than I had first imagined, so I was a little disappointed. Still, I really love the shape itself. Every time I go to the hospital, the director personally checks my progress carefully, and at first the feel was a bit hard and firm, but as time passes I can feel it gradually loosening and becoming more natural. Since it’s only been a month, they said it hasn’t fully settled yet, so I’m hoping that as more time passes the texture will become even more natural and the breasts will settle in a little more comfortably. After about a month, it definitely feels very different from right after surgery, and it’s also fascinating to personally feel the recovery process. I’m watching with anticipation to see how much more natural it will become :)
