I went there without knowing that the doctor had been on Let Me In. I had written down this clinic somewhere while going around to compare places, but I don’t remember where I saw it. The clinic was huge, and the director didn’t pressure me about anything. I came in with a clear list of the surgical result I wanted and what I wanted to improve. The consultation with the doctor wasn’t bad, and I learned a lot. I had no intention of getting double jaw surgery, but he said my lower face itself was large and projected forward, and that if I had it done I’d have a celebrity face. It seemed like the surgery he usually recommends is the one he’s confident in. He was basically saying the same thing I used to think when I was younger. But I didn’t even have any plans for double jaw surgery, and I didn’t know he specialized in it. Seeing other patients’ before-and-after photos was tempting.. I prefer a natural look, so my aesthetic sense didn’t really match the doctor’s. The price was also not cheap.
