My mouth corners were drooping so much that filler and Botox couldn’t fix it, and I had so much chin fat that my neck couldn’t even be seen. I went to consult while I was taking a break from work because of my herniated disc and wanted to lie down. The doctor said my mouth corners were drooping severely, so even if they were lifted as much as possible, they would only reach the level of an average person, and if I wanted them higher I’d need another surgery. He also clearly said that there would definitely be a scar. Since I wanted to get rid of my chin fat while I was there, I mentioned liposuction too, but they said my neck muscles were sagging a lot, so lipo alone wouldn’t be very effective and they didn’t recommend it; if I were going to do it, I’d need muscle binding too and both the inner and outer fat would have to be removed to see results. They also recommended 8 Mint threads because if the fat disappeared, my face would sag. I’d watched a lot of mouth-corner surgery reviews and chose this place because it looked the most natural and I liked it best, so I just paid the deposit and went in a few days later. The staff were kind, and the doctor was kind enough too. The surgery went in almost right away without any waiting and without discomfort, and when I closed my eyes and opened them again, it was over. I remember feeling good that day, so I did plenty of shopping and went home. Since I had liposuction, the swelling was severe and came up like a moon face, and it lasted quite a long time. It probably took over 3 months for everything to go down. For the first month, it stayed big and swollen. Even though I was swollen, I saw my neck for the first time.. I thought I had a very short neck, almost like I didn’t have one, but after the fat was removed, I realized I did have one....... It was so strange.. It wasn’t that my neck was extremely short, it was just that I had way too much fat.. They said they removed about 180cc of pure fat in total from both cheeks, the inside of the neck, and the double chin combined. lol I really had a ton of fat on my face.. It’s been about a year now, so all the swelling is gone and the mouth corners look very natural. There is of course a scar, but you have to look closely even without makeup to see it, and if I put on makeup it’s basically invisible. Since the corners are slightly lifted, my overall impression has improved a lot and I’m really satisfied. Plus now that my neck shows, my face is definitely more likable than before. They only recommended what was necessary and didn’t force anything, it seemed. Overall, they were kind and good.
